SoCoSci at the PSYC Research Lab Fair

SoCoSci Lab showed up with poster, puzzle, and swag to the annual PSYC Research Lab Fair on October 14.

Our very first Directed Studies students, Arushi Khanna and Ella Hamamoto, created all of the table materials and showcased ongoing research in the lab with unintentionally coordinated style. Joined by 19 other labs and hundreds of bright-eyed undergraduates roaming the aisles in search of research experience, our first year at SFU’s PSYC Research Fair also happened to be its biggest year yet!

A huge thank-you to Ella and Arushi for welcoming over a hundred visitors to our table, and for waiting patiently while a few of them wrestled with our block puzzle. Though you both lost your voice the next day, I believe this was valuable practice for presenting posters at conferences.
